SESSIONS I
In November 2007, the KHR Sessions series begins recording
with multi-Grammy winning producer, Phil Nicolo (John
Lennon, Lauren Hill, Billy Joel, Lauren Hart, The Hooters,
and Spanish Harlem Orchestra) at Studio 4 in Conshohocken.
Who is / what is KHR Sessions?
KHR Sessions an exciting
collaboration of some of the area’s finest
musicians including: Dave Antonow, Dan Butt, Rob
Cochran, Fran X. Danis, Ed Gaittins,
Alan Gaumer, Eric Mintel, Dave Mohn, Dave Renz, and
Tim Shay. The material blends contemporary jazz harmonies
and rhythms with thoughtful melodic lyrics recorded
in a live intimate setting.
 KHR Sessions started
as a series of recordings that were developed by
KHR between the fall of 2006 through
the spring of 2007. It features original compositions
and cover arrangements by Bernie Klemmer, full horn
ensemble arrangements by Nelson Hill, and the vocal
styling of Bethanne Reid. All the material for their
first CD Better Way and second CD Highway of Life was
recorded in Klemmer’s home studio on Stoney Hill
Road. A third CD Daydream is currently in production.
You get an opportunity to preview KHR Sessions on November
14th, 2007, 8 PM at the Cosmopolitan Club at the New
Hope Inn. There is a $15.00 cover charge per person
and $10.00 food or drink minimum per person for the
