Oodles of Doodles
by Jessica Cable
Hello! My name is Jessica Cable. I am a senior at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania studying elementary and early childhood education. I am very excited because this summer I have the opportunity to run my own art camp and I would like your child to be a part of it!
My dad, Jerry Cable, has recently opened his own art gallery and studio located on main street in Stockton, New Jersey. He has generously allowed me to use the space for this art camp.
There will be two weeklong programs for children in grades 1 through 3. Morning and afternoon session are available to help accommodate your schedule and needs. Each session will be open to 10 children on a first come first serve basis.
My purpose in doing this camp is to expose children to a variety of mediums, tools, and techniques that artists use. In addition we will be exploring the purposes of art as a part of culture. We will be doing a variety of activities throughout the week including some scrapbooking, clay projects, painting, and arts and crafts. We will take a short break and play some games and have a snack in the middle of each session.
The cost of the week is $150 and includes all art supplies and a daily snack. I assure you that this will be a safe, fun, and engaging week of camp for your child. If you are interested in signing your child up for Oodles of Doodles art camp please contact me via email at jcable5187@hotmail.com.
