RAVENCHASE
- NEW HOPE STYLE
When I received the email about
Ravenchase, I was intrigued to say the least. Ravenchase
is coming to New Hope and I wanted to find out what
it was and why I had never heard of it before.
So, I went to their website - waaaay cool! Here
is
how
they
describe Ravenchase:
Ravenchase Adventures are a mixture between National
Treasure, Amazing Race, and the DaVinci
Code. Our staff
personally greets each team at the start of the race,
explains the rules of the game, and gives each team
a hand-made treasure map, a scroll of clues, and maybe,
even a cool bag of gadgets. Travel in any direction
around New Hope, encounter planted actors along the
course, and solve the answers to find a secret end
location. And in the holiday spirit, enjoy tacky prizes
and the first round of Eggnog on us!
I called the contact number
and spoke to Bob Jenner, who, along with his wife,
Kristine, manages Ravenchase for the East Coast. They
offer public events and corporate or fund raising events
- all geared around games and clues with a little mystery.
They create unique riddles, anagrams, and puzzles and
lead the "players" on a 2-3 hour adventure through
town (or city) - looking for clues and the next set
of intructions. At the end of the event, players all
come together for fun prizes and story telling. I plan
to play on December 15th when Ravenchase is hosting
their first New Hope public event. Why don't you come
too! Here is the New Hope invite, but
go to
the
Ravenchase
website
for more information about the organization! www.Ravenchase.com.
Where can you go to
get a Raven tattoo, join other bikers for an afternoon
ride, and purchase some special ingredients for
a witchy brew? Where can you go to visit talented
local artists,
skilled craftsmen, and an enchanted Christmas village?
It is hard to imagine that New Hope has it all.
And this holiday season, Ravenchase Adventures presents
the first New Hope Enchanted Christmas Village
Hunt.
Learn the secrets of Christmas Past, Present, and
Future…just
leave the scrooge at home.

Christmas Village Hunt
