Red Goddess Celebration Box ™

Local mom, yoga instructor, and entrepreneur Marianne Impal has designed and developed a unique gift for pre-teen girls, to help them honor themselves and respect their bodies’ changes as they become women.  Her creation is the Red Goddess Celebration Box ™, an elegant red-brocaded solid wood keepsake box filled with treasures to delight all young girls.

As a mom of two girls, Impal was inspired to create the Red Goddess Celebration Box ™ after reading the best selling novel The Red Tent, written by Anita Diamant. The story line has “a definite emphasis on what seemed to be a lacking piece of history where women celebrated their first ‘Moon’ and nurtured each other during their menses cycles”. Impal wants her daughters – and all young women - to understand the true meaning of being a woman and for them to have a positive outlook toward themselves as they welcome their bodies' changes.

Among other things Marianne is also certified in Shiatsu acupressure where much of her training in bodywork and yoga has given her a solid background to develop products for her Red Goddess Celebration Box™ , which is specifically geared toward girls entering puberty.  Impal plans to combine her passions -  yoga and empowering young girls – by starting a series of training workshops.
