Sculpture New HopeSCULPTURE NEW HOPE 2008

Here is comes again! The Sixth Annual Sculpture New Hope Exhibition presented by New Hope Arts, Inc.

The exhibition continues to set a standard of excellence and offers a dynamic view of the diversity of dimensional work being created. As a national juried show it continues to reflect the fresh, bold ideas that are popular on the national contemporary arts scene today.

The exhibition is a national juried show featuring sixty-five works by forty-four award winning artists from around the country who work in a variety of materials including stone, glass, bronze, steel, clay, hydrocol, resin, wood and mixed media in representational to more abstract imagery. The indoor Alendra Martin Sculptureexhibition held at the New Hope Arts Center coincides with the Outdoor Exhibition of large-scale works installed throughout the riverside town. This year’s exhibition opens with a ticketed Patrons Preview Party on Saturday, May 3 (you will want to get your tickets early as it is always a sell-out event!)

The Outdoor Exhibition creates a year round Open Air Museum where visitors need only walk a block or less to discover another world class outdoor piece. Works range from Harry Gordon’s 20-ton abstract stone Granite Arch at Union Square's Rt. 202 entrance to the smaller, elegant stone bench by Ayami Aoyama at Union Square's Bridge Street entrance.

Food and wine from local chefs will be served and the artists will attend.
