be the site
for
Showcase
the
Arts
of New Hope,
a town-wide celebration of the arts and artists of
New Hope, Bucks County and environs. The weekend
event will feature performances, exhibitions and
children’s
activities, culminating in a dinner/celebration of
the Culinary Arts where guests will enjoy a diverse
sampling of great wines and fabulous food prepared
by some of the area’s finest chefs.
The
weekend event will kick off a little early
on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 with a special reception
for the Fine art of Dining, an art exhibition
all about food and breaking bread with one another.
The show will be held at Triumph Restaurant & Brewery
and a portion of all sales will benefit New Hope
Arts, Inc. Throughout the weekend galleries will
feature local artists work and some will host
demonstrations – many will be open for
special extended hours. Artists participating
in the Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition currently
on view throughout New Hope will lead a walking
tour of the show as they each discuss their work.
The weekend will also feature theatrical productions
as well as outdoor performances and concerts
at several music venues throughout New Hope.
On Saturday July 10 area artists will work with
children to create their own masterpieces.
