Linda Gustafson, a native of the Midwest, moved to our area about eight years ago and, like so many before her, fell in love with Bucks County and the charm of Lambertville, New Jersey and New Hope, Pennsylvania. Linda worked in the hospitality industry in Bucks County for six years and then, early in 2009, decided to start her own business along with business partner, Glenn Jeffreys. 

Linda has always been a lover of wines and has been to wine tastings all over the United States.  In 2008, while in the Finger Lakes region of New York, she was on a wine tour when she encountered her first experience with a “wine tour bus.” The same thing happened during a wine tour tasting in California this Spring.  That was her light bulb moment - to start a wine tour service in Bucks County.  Tastings & Tours was born. 

After months of research, Linda and Glenn purchased a mini bus for large groups and a van for smaller groups. The bus seats twelve and the van seats six.  The groups are small so as to create a more personal and intimate atmosphere. The Graphic Edge, a design firm in Doylestown, created their logo, website, and printed material.

“I thought the best way to market the concept and business would be to work with all the wonderful hotels and B&B's in the area . . . We pick the people up right at the hotels and take them on a day of wine tasting and tours,” explains Linda.

Of course the tours are available to everyone!  Locals can sign up as individuals or as a group and arrange to be picked up at one of the access points.  Wine tasting tours are great for parties and celebrations.  You can even give a tour as a gift.

Tastings & Tours is working with a number of great wineries. Wineries may include:  Buckingham Valley Vineyards, Chaddforg Winery – Peddlers Village, Tasting Room, Crossing Vineyards & Winery, New Hope Winery, Sand Castle Winery, and Wycombe Vineyards. Restaurants are also included in some packages:  Andrés Wine and Cheese Shop, Sweet Lorraines Café & Bar, and The Copper Leaf Grill.

Tours can be selected from two packages, both offered at $75 per person.  Both packages include lunch and have multiple options to suit the individual or group.
