Wedgwood Inn -
Celebrating 25 years of Innkeeping
In April 2007, Dinie
and Carl Glassman celebrated 25 years of innkeeping
at their 1870 Wedgwood
Inn. Dinie and Carl have led the Wedgwood Inn from
humble beginnings into a fixture in the local innkeeping
community. Dinie has guided the inn full time since
its inception and has often been recognized for her
role in hospitality and service in the travel and tourism
industry.
As a thank you to the loyal
houseguests who have made their B&B inn such
a success, Carl and Dinie are giving away a complimentary "Mid-Week
Escape Lodging Package" each month of their anniversary
year.
The names will be drawn at
random from their extensive database of houseguest
names (rom their Wedgwood Collection of Historic Inns:
Wedgwood, Umpleby
and
the Aaron Burr House.) If you have not been a registered
guest but would like to enter, go to the website to
register - www.WedgwoodInn.com. Each month the winner
will be chosen and notified via email.
The 1870 Wedgwood
Bed & Breakfast
Inn at 111 W. Bridge Stree in lovely New Hope, PA,
is a nationally acclaimed bed and breakfast inn. It
is a Wedgwood-blue
colored Victorian "Painted Lady" listed
on Bucks County Registry of Historic Places. Wedgwood
Inn is spelled Wedgwood, not 'Wedgewood' because
Wedgwood
Inn is named after the Englishman Josiah Wedgwood
who invented the famous Wedgwood blue bone china.
The Wedgwood
family name does not have a second "e" in
its spelling.
Set on 2 private
acres of a park-like setting with flower-lined brick
walkways leading to
two gazebos and a hammock, yet just steps from
New Hope's historic and vibrant village and the walking
bridge to Lambertville and nearby Princeton, New
Jersey.
