Why Pastured?
Purely Farm animals, whether pig, lamb or chicken are rotated through legume mixture pastures which produces meat and eggs which are top in quality and taste. Their animals spend their lives outside in the sun (shelters available to them, of course), not confined in small pens the way conventional pork is produced. All of the animals are treated humanely.
Pastured Meats are:
• Naturally more tender and juicier than conventionally raised animals.
• Lower in calories and fat.
• Higher in Omega 3s & Vitamin D, essential to good health and often lacking in modern
• Higher in Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLAs), Vitamin E and Beta Carotene. This produces heart healthy pork loaded with natural defenses against cancers, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, Alzheimer's Enjoying hand-fed red cloverand other life-threatening diseases.
• The fats produced by pastured animals, including lard, are healthy fats.
• Purely Farm uses Organic feeds (for pork and chickens, lamb & mutton are 100% Grass-Fed.
