Yesterday (Sunday) I took a bike ride on the canal and, once again, remembered why I love it here so much. The day was a PERFECT day - mild, no humidity, sunny (ah, I wish we had a lot more days like this) and the views along the towpath were breathtaking. By the way, I was the one with the big smile, saying "Hi, Good Morning" to everyone I passed.
I was reading something last week that referred to "Noble August" - I guess since August means "noble, honorable, or revered." So, I thought I would check my expert source (The Internet) for more information on the origin of this venerable month.
Pretty interesting, eh?

The Message Board gets new messages each week. I hope people are helping each other by responding to the questions posed here. Remember that the Message Board is for YOU, the visitors.
By the way, I approve each message before it is posted. That is why your message does not appear immediately after you submit it. This allows me to screen messages for inappropriate or illegal material. So far, I've only had to delete one message that had a lot of 4-letter words in it.
